Recipes: Spiced Almond Milk + Protein Pancakes

These two recipes are healthy and, like everything I cook, super easy to make.  I love the spiced almond milk in the winter. If you have whipped cream to top it with...even better! My egg/banana pancakes have been a staple meal for years. I make them for breakfast just about every weekend. So filling and so healthy.

Warm Spiced Almond Milk (adapted from this recipe)
1 cup unsweetend almond milk
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch of ground ginger
Pinch of cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon of almond butter

1. Combine all the ingredients in a small pot
2. Bring pot to a boil
3. Pour into a mug & enjoy

Banana Protein Pancakes
1 banana
1 egg
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
Handful of raspberries

1. Blend banana, egg, protein powder in a blender
2. Pour batter into small circles in a pan & put raspberries on top
3. Let cook & flip after a minute or two
4. Drizzle pancakes with honey and serve!

(I also make them without protein powder, sometimes add cinnamon, and love mixing blueberries in the batter, too)
