This New York Weekend

Sunday, October 25, 2015
Typically I avoid committing to too many set plans, but this weekend was an exception because Ellen came to visit! I took off work Friday (my first OOO in months!) and we ventured our way all over the city. We shopped, ate, drank, ate some more, and packed so much into 72 hours. It was my favorite fall weekend yet.
^ Elle got in Friday morning and we ate at Lafayette's cafe. Biggest bowl of oatmeal I've ever seen. ^
^ After breakfast we meandered to Soho, shopped for a few hours, and walked up to Rosemary's for a lil #winewithlunch. ^
^ Pretty sure my favorite scene is dining al fresco at Rosemary's on a sunny, cool fall day. Like... take me back. ^
^ Hello Saturday. ^
^ Brunch was at Santina in Meatpacking. I loved this spot. It's a little pricey but between interior design, fun cocktails, and lively atmosphere it's well worth it. Plus the location - so great. ^
^ See: fun cocktails. And my pancakes came with almond butter on the side! Small wins. ^
^ Santina is located right at the base of the The High Line. So we walked up and made our way over to Chelsea Market, where I purchased the most delicious White Truffle Olive Oil at The Filling Station. Drizzle that on everythang.
^ Cloudy views but I still love. ^

^ And finally Sunday. Elle and I grabbed coffee at Whynot Coffee (aka my numba one coffee spot in New York). We played tourist after and stopped by Carrie Bradshaw's apartment for the photo op. Literally so funny how many people were there snapping away. ^
^ Walked/shopped a little and stumbled into Magnolia Bakery. Yo. That banana pudding though. ^

Not pictured: martinis at Dirty French, rooftop beers at Brass Monkey, a late dinner at Bodega Negra with my favorite drink: jalapeno tequila. Sunday night is not my mood. I hated saying bye to Elle but gotta gear up for the week ahead. Checking up on some emails from Friday, cleaning up my apartment, and binging some Netflix with red wine. Hope ya have a good Monday!
