I am back from the amazing weekend that was COACHELLA! We landed in California last Thursday afternoon and hopped in our rented mini van (super cool) and headed to the house that we rented for the weekend. A quick stop to  the grocery and liquor store and we were ready to begin the most amazing weekend of our lives...
Day One of Coachella began Friday. We cooked breakfast in our Craigslist rental (yes...) and drank champagne all morning. Around 1:30 we walked over to the shuttle bus and headed to the grounds! I'm wearing a J.Crew fedora, a fringe bag from LF, dress from American Apparel, and combat boots from J.Crew. Plus lots of flash tats cause why not?
It was still early in the afternoon when we got in so we stopped at the Beer Garden and watched a couple shows at the main Coachella Stage. The people watching was incredible! This is hands down the most stylish festival I've ever attended. You're also completely immersed with all the celebrities. Basically everyone is at their prime.
So many pictures to be taken. En route to see Kiesza we paused for many photo ops. Btw - those wristbands DO NOT come off (Megan learned the hard way). The Coachella caterpillar crawled across the grounds and eventually turns into a butterfly. Theatrics!
Non stop live music playing all day, all night. Best way to spend your days. One of the reasons I loved Coachella was because of all the new music you end up discovering. Friday turned me into a big fan of Angus & Julia Stone. Check them out!
There were so many different things to see aside from the shows playing. For instance, the super creepy "Corporate Headquarters" which displayed giant hippos inside enacting a day the office. Each day they got progressively more crazy - and scary. The entertainment at this festival was insane - as well as the food. Cannot beat the tacos. Day One amped me up for the next two days I had ahead of me. The weather, the music, the style, the people. I loved it all.
