Book Club
Two very different books on my agenda. I like to switch up the genres I read as I go from book to book. I just finished Where'd You Go, Bernadette and downloaded I Am Malala to my Kindle last night. I honestly had higher hopes for Where'd You Go, Bernadette. I heard so many great reviews about it that I thought it would have been a bit better. I did love Bernadette's long descriptions of Seattle, though... so funny! It's a super light and quick read. This is why I felt I needed to pick up something a little deeper and educational next. Hence -  I Am Malala. I've heard amazing things about this book, too, and I am sure that I'll gain great knowledge and insight about the treatment of women in Pakistan today.

What's on your book shelf? Anything I must read?

  1. I'm switching between "I Am Malala" and another book, "The Best Of Everything" right now...and really enjoying both!

  3. I can't wait to read I Am Malala - I saw her interview on Jon Stewart and she was so inspiring. I'm also dying to read Grace Coddington's memoir, Divergent, Lean In, and The Fault in Our Stars. All super different, but I'm so excited to have time to read over the break!
