Mirror, Mirror

I signed the lease! It's a done deal! Move in day Saturday. I'm starting to pack up my clothes, organize my things, and understand how/why I have so many pairs of shoes. It's an issue. Half the time I don't even leave TJ Maxx without a new pair of shoes. They're discounted though, so it's fine, right? Well besides my shoe problem, another issue is going to be the living space of our apartment. See it's brand new, hardwood floors, freshly painted, new "kitchen" (I like to call it the wall of appliances), exposed brick, located in the perfect area - BUT the living room area is a tiny, tiny thing. How do you trick the eye into making it seem bigger? Mirrors!

We have a wall that's about 8 feet long that will need to be filled with decor and I think the perfect solution is to mix in mirrors on the wall. Artwork + mixed and matched mirrors = pretty wall that also enlarges the room! I think old, vintage mirrors would look perfect especially if they are all different shapes and sizes. It will give the room some character while also making it seem bigger. Win, win.

  1. Cute blog!! I love the mirror's all over the walls! Such a classic look and fits so many places perfect!

  2. Congrats on the new lease! I secretly love moving into a new place because I get to re-think my whole design strategy! Love the mirros.
